Darren Constable, an emerging Atlanta artist, is a self taught artist who
specializes in paints, fabric, tile,  glass and mixed media collage.   An enthusiast of colorful
and vibrant pieces,  Constable prides himself on creating art thats approachable, unique
and enjoyable.
Originally from Brooklyn,  New York,  In the late 80's Constable migrated to Atlanta
to pursue a business venture and eventually made Atlanta home.   After  working in the
technology field for several years he decided to pursue his true passion,  Art.   " Creating
art has always been a great way to relax and express yourself.  Having won an art contest
at the Brooklyn Museum of Art as a child , the love of art has always been with me"
Some of his most popular pieces are his "Funky Divas" and his musical themed
works.   Constable believes his various subjects, mediums and usage of color,  texture,
shape and dimension display strength and warm energy.   As a result, he deems his art
approachable to both the fervent collector as well as the novice art devotee."It really is
inspiring and sometimes surprising to receive the enthusiastic and emotional responses to
my work from so many people.   My greatest challenge is to continue to grow and bring  
to fruition all of the visions that I have inside.  The best is yet to come"
